As Spartans, each individual will embrace and demonstrate the qualities stressed below: We believe that we will be stronger community members now and in the future by honoring the following assets:
ACHIEVEMENT: We will utilize our skills, knowledge, and the resources of the Olympia community to reach our maximum potential. We will applaud the achievements of others.
INTEGRITY: All actions, will be guided by what we know is right, defined by the Code of Conduct and common sense, even when it is uncomfortable for us or unpopular with our peers.
RESPECT: We will treat others with consideration and with thoughtful appreciation for their value as human beings. We will respect others' privacy, property and the learning environment.
HONESTY: We will embrace truthfulness and fairness. We will not accept fraud or deceit in ourselves or in the Olympia community.
RESPONSIBILITY: We will take personal responsibility for our learning, our choices, and our actions.
EMPATHY: We will endeavor to understand the feelings, thoughts and ideas of others; which will build compassion and fairness.
The community of Olympia shall be an inviting, positive learning environment for all. Students, parents, and staff have pride in themselves and their school community. The environment shall encourage and welcome interaction, open communication, and mutual respect. We shall nurture within every person a sense of responsibility, belonging, and self worth. Working together we shall help all students to reach their potential.
